3 free pilot spots · Spring 2027

Every fence.
Every fault.
Live.

Cross-country fence judges score from their own phones. Results land in the secretary's tent the moment a rider clears the fence. No clipboards, no runners, no adding up penalties by hand.

Cross-country day, two ways

On paper

  • Runners drive the course collecting score sheets between divisions.
  • Someone re-types every sheet into a spreadsheet.
  • Penalties are added up by hand, and mistakes surface at prize-giving.
  • Placings wait for the last sheet to come in.
  • A rain-soaked or lost sheet means chasing down a judge.

With Clear Round Scoring

  • Each result arrives the moment the judge taps it.
  • Nothing to collect and nothing to re-type.
  • Penalties are calculated from your session's settings.
  • Placings are ready when the last rider finishes.
  • Every result is stored and tied to the fence that recorded it.

How it works

Three steps, and your judges only see the last two.

  1. You set up the course

Add your riders, your fences and your fence judges. Each judge gets a 6-digit PIN for the fences you assign them.

  2. Judges tap results

Judges open the page on their own phone, enter their PIN, and tap one result per rider: Clear, Pass, Fault, R1 to R4, or Fall.

  3. Results fill in live

The results matrix updates as each fence is scored, with penalties added up from your session's penalty settings.

What the secretary's tent sees

Every rider, every fence, updating as judges tap. Rider #24 is on course; fence 5 just came in.

Why organizers switch

Fewer volunteers

No runners collecting sheets and no one re-typing them. Put your volunteers where you need them.

Faster placings

Standings update as each fence is scored, so you can announce results as soon as the last rider finishes.

Penalties calculated for you

Faults and refusals are scored from your session's penalty settings, and a fall eliminates the rider automatically. Nobody adds up columns by hand.

Fewer disputes

Every result is tied to the fence and judge that recorded it. Judges can only score the fences assigned to them, and a completed event's results are frozen.

Nothing to install

Judges open a web page on their own phone and enter a 6-digit PIN. No app store, no accounts, no hardware to rent.

Results you keep

Every event's results are stored after the show. No binders, no lost sheets.

Questions organizers ask

What about cell coverage out on course?

Clear Round Scoring runs on ordinary mobile data, and each result is a small message. If a save doesn't go through, the judge sees it and can tap again, so nothing is lost silently. Offline scoring for fences in dead spots is on the roadmap.

Will our older judges manage?

If they can read a text message, yes. They enter a 6-digit PIN, then tap one large color-coded button per rider.

What does it cost after the pilot?

Pilot events are free. Pilot partners lock in founding pricing for later events, and we'll agree on it with you before you commit to anything.

Do you support show jumping or other disciplines?

Cross-country first. Show jumping and other disciplines will follow as organizers ask for them, so tell us what you run in the form below.
